John Hollands is a filmmaker from Vancouver, Canada / the unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh).

His films have screened at festivals across Canada, the United States and Europe.
Presently, he lives in New York City.
